Cold Heading
Since 1970, Fastco Industries has been leading manufacturer of cold headed fasteners. We manufacture bolts, pins, rivets, studs, screws, and more for many industries. As an IATF 16949:2016 certified company, Fastco has been a long-time automotive supplier. Since we manufacture 80% of our tooling in-house, we can turn around prototypes and samples rapidly for industrial, heavy equipment, and construction industries.
Cold heading, also called cold forming, is a cost-effective and efficient process to produce both standard parts, such as bolts, screws, rivets, and pins, as well as custom fasteners. This technology has been in existence for over 150 years. The process uses a series of dies and punches to form steel coils into rivets, studs, bolts, and other male fasteners. Cold heading allows for holding tight tolerances and is a bulk-manufacturing process. As a result, we specialize in high-volume production.
In addition to rapid lead times and high-volume production, Fastco listens to our customers. We see ourselves as partners in providing quality fasteners. We are here to provide design support and excellent customer service.
All Fastco cold headed fasteners are proudly Made in the USA in our manufacturing facilities.
